Relay WayX ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application Relay WayX (the "App") across all supported platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux).
The App offers two operating modes with different data practices:
Free Mode: You can use the App as a standalone secure network client by importing your own subscription links or protocol URLs (e.g., VMess, VLESS, Trojan, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2, WireGuard, TUIC). In this mode, we do not require account registration and collect minimal data. Your subscription URLs and node configurations are stored locally on your device only.
Subscription Mode: When connected to a service provider, you may register an account and access managed server nodes. The data practices below apply primarily to this mode.
Account Information (Subscription Mode only): When you register, we collect your email address and encrypted password to create and manage your account.
Device Information: We collect basic device identifiers (device model, OS version) solely for session management and to prevent unauthorized access.
Connection Data: We record connection timestamps and bandwidth usage for service quality purposes. We do NOT log your browsing activity, DNS queries, IP destinations, or any content of your network traffic.
The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
Your account data is encrypted and stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256-GCM encryption, RSA-2048 key exchange, and HMAC-SHA256 authentication to protect your data in transit and at rest. Sensitive credentials are stored using platform-native secure storage (Keychain on iOS/macOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android, DPAPI on Windows).
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use third-party payment processors to handle subscription transactions, which are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Locally stored data (subscriptions, settings) can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the App.
